Varming Consulting Engineers were commissioned to design the mechanical and electrical services installations for this new 3 storey standalone sixth form centre at the existing college campus.  The new centre caters for 350 students and staff and comprises of new social spaces and learning zones including 4 No. new science laboratories, 3 No. ICT suites, 3 No. technology and design workshops and seminar rooms.

The new school achieved a BREEAM Very Good rating and a total carbon emission reduction of 30% improvement on the Part L2A 2013 Target Emission Rate (TER) including the use of at least 10% renewable energy and 20% passive measures.
