Varming Consulting Engineers were recently appointed by the Department of Education and Science as Building Services Engineers associated with the Design and Site Monitoring of two projects to be provided as part of their Accelerated Delivery and Architectural Planning & Tendering. (Adapt)  2018 programme. The projects are required to be complete by July 2018 and be operational in time for the commencement of the 2018/2019 school year.

The details of the two projects are as follows:



Gaelscoil na Camoige and Gaelscoil Chluain

Located on the Old Nangor Road, Clondalkin the project consists of the provision of 2 new 16 classroom schools plus a PE Hall for Colaiste Cillian and associated siteworks. Master planning of the site to all schools.

Pobalscoil Rosmini

In July 2013 as a result of flash flooding and damage to electrical systems the school was fully relocated to temporary accommodation located in All Hallows and St Joseph’s School for the Visually Impaired and the Rosmini school building is currently vacant. The brief for this project is to return the school to original site as soon as possible by means of a number of design options to be explored by the design team as part of the design process.
