Varming Consulting Engineers were recently appointed by DB Schenker as Building Services Engineers, associated with the Design and Site Monitoring of their new Central Warehouse and distribution offices for the south of Ireland.

The project consists of the design and construction of 10,000 m2 warehouse area and 1,840 m2 office accommodation.

As this new facility warehouses incorporates induction ventilation system, it ensures constant temperature are maintained within the warehouse areas all year round. An IP based CCTV and access control system allows 24-hours monitoring of the facility from a remote monitoring location.

The project is due to commence on site in February 2015 and is due for completion in December 2015.
