Varming Consulting Engineers were recently appointed by Friends First as Building Services Engineers associated with the design and site monitoring of 55 South William Street, a listed building restoration.
The project consists of the design and construction of 5 Floors spilt into two occupancies for future tenants. The basement, ground and first floors designed as a restaurant and the 2nd and 3rd floors will be fitted out as Cat B office space.
Mechanical systems to be provided will include gas fire boilers, air conditioning and heat recovery ventilation, the restaurant kitchen has provisions for an extract system. Electrical systems will include CCTV, intercom, intruder alarm, fire alarm incorporating smoke aspiration systems, high efficiency LED lighting, new power and distribution systems.
The Project is due to commence in February 2018 and compliments our extensive successful experience in the restoration of listed buildings.
