Varming Consulting Engineers were commissioned to design the mechanical and electrical services installations for this project which is a mixed used development, consisting of a ground floor retail outlet with first and second floor commercial offices above. There are also two below ground private car parks and eleven residential apartments. The total gross floor area for the development is 2,903m2. Of this the commercial elements of the development make up a total of 1,034m2 including occupied areas, circulations and sanitary accommodation. There are eleven residential apartments covering 911m2 of the total gross internal floor area. The basement car parks, plant areas, storage etc. makes up the balance of the gross floor area.
Sustainable features include centralized energy centre, Solar hot water, PV cells, natural ventilation, rain water harvesting and energy efficient lighting, Natural Ventilation, Building Air Tightness.
