The Varming building design team has been a part of many high-profile projects in our 75-year history, and we're here to tell you about another that just reached substantial completion. On this occasion, it's the state-of-the-art, 80-bed Community Nursing Unit (CNU) on the site of Sheil Hospital in Ballyshannon.
The €29.0m project our M & E engineers worked on comprised 69 single bedrooms, as well as seven twin bedrooms featuring a blend of short-stay, long-stay and specialist dementia wards. Major updates were also made to the existing hospital to facilitate ancillary, as well as day hospital services.
