Varming Consulting Engineers were commissioned for mechanical, electrical services and lift installations design and site monitoring including Building Regulations Certification (BCAR) for the development of the new South Donegal Community Nursing Home.
The Mechanical installation included boiler plant, with air source heat pumps, LPHW Heating, cooling system, ventilation, water services, piped oxygen, BMS controls, soils and wastes and modifications to the existing services installations.
The Electrical Installation included G10 generator, LV infrastructure upgrade, ESB substation, LV switchgear, lightning protection, lighting and emergency lighting, general services and small power, medical trunking, nurse call system, man down system, patient wander Management System, comms & cabinets, fire protection systems, disable refuge systems, disable toilet alarm, security systems, TV system, medical gases alarm system and earthing & bonding.
The Lift Installation included 2 No. new 33 person Bed Lift over four levels and replacement of the existing 17 person lift.
