Project Description

Varming Consulting Engineers were commissioned to design the mechanical and electrical services installations for the new N+1 compliant emergency power resilience system for Connolly Hospital. The project involved integrating two new 1500kVA standby generators with the existing MV generator infrastructure, together with the replacement of LV switchgear and upgrade of transformers from 1MVA to 1.6MVA, all delivered within a live hospital environment while maintaining uninterrupted power and critical clinical services.
